Final Result

The final result was: 1.7% of the primary vote - after the Libs and the Greens, and following the Sex Party, DLP and the Dems.

Thank you to everyone who participated in and supported the campaign!

Very best wishes,
Stephen Murphy

Vote Against the ETS

Not happy with the ETS? A vote for Stephen Murphy is a vote against the ETS.

The emissions trading scheme:
- won't change the climate
- will cost Australian jobs
- is up to $4500 per year in new taxes

I will oppose the emissions trading scheme and take this message to Canberra for you.

What We Do in Life

Stephen sent out a press release tonight to Australian Senators.

He writes:

Just as Australia is on the verge of signing into law a crippling new tax that will hurt our economy, destroy jobs and reduce our quality of life, shockwaves from the scandal known as 'climategate' are reverberating around the world.

It's time to stand up to the great global warming fear campaign in Australia and delay the ETS for a proper investigation into the work of the scientists who have mislead us.

Bill Koutalianos (Bradfield) on TV

Today Tonight reports from Sydney, where Bill Koutalianos and the NSW climate sceptics get their message out.

Well done, Bill - and good luck in the Bradfield by-election.

Public Opinion Swaying

In an amazing broadcast from the mainstream media tonight, TV program A current Affair exposed what everyday people think of the climate con.

Public opinion is swaying, but is it too late to stop the CPRS ?

I'm The Leader

Turnbull apparently survives a leadership spill 48-35.

The Liberals will most likely commit Australia to an expensive and unnecessary ETS tomorrow.

Osmotic Powered Coffee Machine

Reuters reports that Norway has built an osmotic power planet.

It will generate a whopping 2 kilowatts of power - about enough to power a coffee machine.

Norway has massive reserves in the North Sea, is the world's second largest energy exporter and already generates large amounts of carbon-free 'white' energy via extensive hydro schemes.

Hundreds of millions were undoubtedly sunk into the osmotic coffee machine project.

Is this an indication of the same 'low-carbon' future we are headed for in Australia?

It's the Vibe of the Thing

Reported tonight: Malcolm Turnbull decides his position on the ETS by the vibe of the party room - rather than taking a vote.

So much for democratic party room processes on important issues. This could be the ticket to another 8 years in the electoral wilderness for the Libs.

Malvern Town Hall Tuesday 1pm

Meet us at the Malvern Town Hall on Tuesday 23rd November at 1pm to see why the ETS is Bull and how we have been mislead on climate change!

Address: corner Glenferrie Rd and High St, Malvern.

See you there.

We Need You!

Are you able to offer half a day to man one of the 37 polling booths in the Higgins electorate on December 5th and hand out how-to-vote cards?

If so, please get in touch! We need a super turnout on voting day in order to send a loud and clear message to Canberra.

P.S. if you coach a soccer team - even better.
