The Environment

We all care a great deal about our natural envionment and it's obviously extremely important that we take action to protect and preserve the environment for future generations.

The planned Australian emissions trading scheme, however, will not deliver any noticeable benefit to the environment whatsoever.

This is a great pity because other, real environmental issues in Australia will not get the focus they perhaps deserve!

The Climate Sceptics

Though I am participating in the Higgins by-election as an independent candidate, I am also a member of The Climate Sceptics.

From their web site:

We are ordinary but proud Australians who are gravely concerned with the unfounded environmental alarmism infiltrating all forms of Australian Government (Federal, State & Local), threatening our way of life and hard fought freedoms.

The Climate Sceptics have done an excellent job compiling a large amount of scientific information on natural climate change - it's well worth browsing through their web site and registering to receive their email newsletter.

Introduction

Stephen has been involved with science and technology all his life.

After studying mathematics, physics, computer science and graduating with first class Honours from Monash University he spent 10 exciting years working abroad in technology, finance and marketing.

Recently returned to Australia, Stephen is applying the knowledge gained from his experiences in Europe and Scandinavia to his new role as an information technology consultant in Melbourne.

Describing himself as a logical thinker and one to ask questions, Stephen is concerned that the popular theories of man-made climate change may be flawed and has been working to uncover the credible scientific evidence and dispel the myths.

With a passion for travelling, Stephen speaks five languages to varying degrees of fluency, enjoys keeping active and gets to the mountains or the coast whenever he can.
