Stephen's campaign manager Chris Dawson says:
A superb result! And it's perhaps no coincidence that the number 1 candidate on the ballot paper will be tackling the number 1 issue facing Australia today - Kevin Rudd's ridiculous emissions trading scheme.
As a labour/democrat/greens man I'll be looking for the Liberal candidate before I vote for you. Do some research.
ReplyDeleteFrom Wikipedia,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_opinion_on_climate_change
"An Increasing body of obervatons gives a collective picture of a warmer world and other changes in the climate system... There is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities.... no scientific body of national or international standing has maintained a dissenting opinion."
So I'm going to believe a software engineer from Melbourne...hmmm. I bet you read the Herald Sun.
Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI guess you realized that the "new and stronger evidence" you quoted was from a document published in 2001.
There has been 8 more years of even "newer" evidence since then - I suggest you google further than wikipedia and seek it out.
Best of luck, Stephen.
Congrats on getting number one Stephen. Just beware anyone that uses wikipedia as an authoratative source.
ReplyDeleteOr misspells the name of their preferred party
